Pilates Reformer training is a type of exercise that utilizes a unique piece of equipment called a Pilates Reformer. The apparatus uses a system of springs, pulleys, and body weight to create resistance for a series of exercises that target specific muscle groups. Pilates Reformer training can help improve core strength, flexibility, balance, and posture. It is a low-impact form of exercise that is suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels. The training is often conducted in a class setting, with a qualified instructor leading the session and providing guidance on proper technique and form.

In a Pilates reformer class, you won’t be lying on a mat on the ground. You’ll be performing most of the moves on a Pilates reformer, which is the apparatus that’s comprised of a carriage that moves back and forth along a track. The carriage is connected to springs of varying resistance, which are color coded and provide the weight for the exercises you perform. The reformer helps to keep your body in anatomical alignment.
45-50 minutes
Comfortable, form-fitting tank or shirt and leggings (or tighter shorts), no shoes, you can wear grippy socks if you like but you don't need anything on your feet. You will be moving your body in different positions, loose clothing might creep up, but tight clothing allows the instructor to see your alignment, which allows you to get the most out of the class. Form and correct muscle engagement is the way to get the most bang for your body.
These are full-body workouts, don’t be surprised if the class is harder than you thought it would be, you’ll be working many muscles you don’t use very often and your core will be engaged the entire time. The best part is with every strengthening move there is a lengthening component that follows.
Everybody, every age, there are so many modifications.
